Expanding its position in the emergency lighting business, Genlyte Thomas Group LLC, Louisville, Ky., has agreed to acquire the assets of the U.S. Safety System Division of Chloride Power Electronics Inc. from the Chloride Group PLC, headquartered in London.The purchase would include the U.S. Chloride Safety Systems and LightGuard Emergency Lighting brands.
