Does the NEC Limit a Flexible Metal Conduit Run?

Q. Can someone tell me if the National Electrical Code (NEC) limits running flexible metal conduit to any particular length? I ask this because I understand Greenfield for a light fixture shall not be longer than 6 ft. I would like to know if I can extend a 7-ft run of flexible metal conduit to a motor. —J.C. A. Is it also allowable for FMC to be routed through block walls?

Is 3/8 greenfield legal for use in small commercial projects. Like running plugs or light switches behind dry wall through wooden studs?
