I live in Everett Wa. I am using 12 gauge solid copper wire (MM2 CU THHN or THWH) in 1/2'' flex conduit going from the circuit breaker box in the garage to a receptical box mounted on an interior sheet rock garage wall 8 feet away, where it is spliced to 14 gauge (THHN) solid copper wire which goes for another 3 feet. The only item on this circuit is a 17 cubic foot refrigerator. Am I within NEC and if not how do I correct it?
