MMR Constructors Receives National OSHA Safety Recognition

MMR recognized by OSHA as a Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) Merit work site

The Corpus Christi, Texas, district of Baton Rouge, La.-headquartered MMR Constructors, Inc., recently received national OSHA recognition as a Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) Merit work site at Kiewit Offshore Services. VPP approval is OSHA’s official recognition for the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health.

To receive this recognition, MMR maintained a consistent accident rate 90% below the national average for similar companies, presented a 755-page application to OSHA highlighting its successful safety policies and procedures, and submitted to a rigorous evaluation by a team of safety and health professionals.

MMR is one of only 12 electrical contractors in the nation to achieve VPP status.
