The installation of wiring and equipment in marinas and boatyards can be found in Art. 555 of the NEC. Shore power receptacle requirements are outlined in Sec. 555.19(A). As noted in 555.19(A)(4), "Shore power for boats shall be provided by single receptacles rated not less than 30 amperes."
