Article 330 covers the use, installation, and construction specifications of metal-clad cable, Type MC. Securing and supporting requirements are outlined in Sec. 330.30. As noted in the first two sentences of 330.30(B), "Unless otherwise provided, cables shall be secured at intervals not exceeding 6 ft. Cables containing four or fewer conductors sized no larger than 10 AWG shall be secured within 12 in. of every box, cabinet, fitting, or other cable termination."
