The correct answer is: b) control

Article 504 of the 2011 NEC focuses on the requirements for Intrinsically Safe Systems. As noted in Sec. 504.10(A), "Intrinsically safe apparatus, associated apparatus, and other equipment shall be installed in accordance with the control drawing(s)." There is an Exception for a simple apparatus that does not interconnect intrinsically safe circuits.
