VISION INFOSOFT ANNOUNCES SPIN-OFF COMPANY

Vision Infosoft Corp., Encinitas, Calif., recently unveiled plans for a new company called Material Express.com. Contractors can now purchase merchandise over the Internet using lists created in their Electrical Bid Manager estimating software and in the Time and Material Billing Manager program. Material Express.com is currently working with seven distributor fulfillment partners (consisting of 25 branches) to fulfill orders placed through the system. More than 250 customers have registered, and orders are being completed in Southern California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New England. "We are working closely with customers using the Material Express system to continually make enhancements to fulfill their day-to-day purchasing needs. We are also in constant contact with our distributor partners to keep price files up to date and to ensure quality service for our joint customers," said Colleen Baer, president of MaterialExpress.com.
