Business technology provider Prophet 21, Yardley, Pa., has made an immediate $5,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

“As a company, we wanted to help,” says Chuck Boyle, president and chief executive officer of Prophet 21. “We know we can support our nation by working harder than ever to show the world that our way of life has not been affected, but we also wanted to reach out to our fellow citizens in need. That is why Prophet 21 is making this contribution. We have also invited employees to join our corporate effort and make an optional one-time payroll deduction, which will be contributed to the fund in addition to the corporate donation.”

To date, employees have donated more than $3,000. Boyle added that Robert Half International Inc., Menlo Park, Calif., parent company of Accountempts, is matching Prophet 21’s contribution.
