Section 410-56 (g) covers attachment plugs. All 15A and 20A attachment plugs and connectors are required to be constructed so that there are no exposed current-carrying parts except the prongs, blades or pins. The cover for wire terminations must be a part that is essential for the operation of an attachment plug or connector (dead-front construction). See the definition of Dead Front in Article 100
