Mark Hilbert has been in the electrical field for more than 25 years and holds a master electrician's license in two states. From 1980 until 1993 he ran a small electrical contracting business in southern New Hampshire.

Mark was an NEC instructor for the Laconia, N.H., adult education electrical apprentice program for four years until he joined the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) seminar program in January of 2001.

He is a member of the NFPA Electrical Section and is a NEC consultant to NFPA providing advisory service for the Electrical Engineering Department. Mark is also a NEC seminar instructor for NFPA.

Mark lives in the Town of Wolfeboro, N.H., which is in the state's scenic lakes region, with his wife, Wanda, and their black lab, Belle. Their four sons and three grandchildren are not far away.
