SYCAMORE, Ill. - Ideal Industries launched its fifth annual Toy Truck Promotion, which is open to all Ideal distributors as a buy-in program based on qualifying orders of Ideal connectors.
The seasonal Toy Truck Promotion, which runs through December, features a miniature racecar hauler-style 18-wheeler that is speedway-authentic down to its chrome hubcaps. Nylint, Inc., an American toy maker, manufactured the trucks.
Realistic motor sounds, authentic color graphics and flashing lights are said to make this year's truck an immediate collector's item.
"This is a fun and extremely popular promotion for Ideal and its distributors," said Ned Camuti, general manager of the Wire Termination business unit of Ideal. "We have been receiving inquiries about these highly-collectable trucks for months. Quantities are limited, and every year demand exceeds supply."
