HOUSTON — Encompass Services Corp. announced on June 21 that it has been awarded three contracts totaling approximately $27 million for projects at U.S. military facilities.

The contracts, awarded to Encompass' Mechanical Services business group, include the following projects:

  • The construction of a pressurized hydrant fuel system at MacDill Air Force Base near Tampa, Fla., home of the U.S. Air Force's 6th Air Refueling Wing.

  • A new aircraft fuel storage system at Naval Air Station Fallon, near Fallon, Nev., the U.S. Navy's premier tactical air warfare training facility. Work includes a 1.3-million-gallon above-ground fuel storage tank, stainless steel fuel piping, a pump shelter, three loading islands, an underground electrical distribution system and process controls.

  • The construction of two new operations buildings at the U.S. Navy's Special Operations Facility and Boat Maintenance Facility at Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico.
