In March 2002, CEE News magazine was honored as a finalist in the American Business Media’s 2002 Jesse H. Neal Awards for its coverage in its October 2001 issue on how the electrical industry responded to the tragic events of September 11.
The Neal Award, sometimes promoted as the “Pulitzer Prize of business journalism,” is the most prestigious award for business journalists. It’s the first time CEE News has been recognized in the Neal Awards competition.
Contributing to this editorial package were Amy Fischbach, staff writer; Mike Harrington, managing editor; Clint Metcalf, art director; Jim Lucy, chief editor; Dale Funk, chief editor of Electrical Marketing newsletter; and Brendan O’Bryhim, assistant editor, Electrical Wholesaling magazine and Electrical Marketing newsletter.
