Toledo, Ohio-based commercial and industrial electrical contractor Brint Electric Inc. has opened a new office in Adrian, Mich. The contractor decided to open a local office because “having a presence in Adrian allows us to respond to everyone (in the area) quickly,” said sales and marketing manager Ken Johnson. And with employees who already live in the county, “we have a workforce that’s already familiar with the area," according to a report in the Daily Telegram.

Ramon and Theresa Brint established the company in 1970. They first operated their business out of their home. With continued growth, the company eventually moved into its current headquarters on Central Avenue in Toledo. The Brints’ son Ray is now the company president, the Daily Telegram reported.

Brint’s core business is commercial and industrial electrical contracting, while its subsidiary, Green Universal Solutions Co., specializes in energy efficiency programs and green energy solutions. The company does electrical work in southeastern Michigan and northwestern Ohio.
