A sophisticated marijuana grow operation has been discovered from a tip in Caldwell County, N.C. The operation was in a warehouse with 62 marijuana plants.
According to WSOC TV, the suspect is an electrician who "put his skills to work growing pot." The operation consisted of grow lights, fans, water and ventilation systems, about $20,000 worth of equipment.
The electrician was arrested last month and charged with manufacturing marijuana, a felony. The news station reported that the suspect had told a neighbor he was installing chillers because he was going to start growing produce.
Deputies said they waited months for fingerprint evidence to come back before making the arrest. The electrician was released from police custody after posting bond.
