Electrical Worker Electrocuted at Yogurt Plant in New York

The man was doing electrical work at the Fage USA plant in the Johnstown Industrial Park.

An employee of Schenectady Hardware and Electric Co. was electrocuted while working in a yogurt plant last week. The man was doing electrical work at the Fage USA plant in the Johnstown Industrial Park when he came into contact with a live wire while he was on a platform.

The Associated Press reported that the worker as Roopnarine Surajpel, 28, of Schenectady. He was pronounced dead at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. OSHA in investigating the incident.
