Completed materials due a minimum of 7 business days prior to email deployment date. Materials should include:

• Final HTML file with all links, images, etc., operational and live
• Maximum HTML file size: 50kb)
• The HTML file must also contain a functioning opt-out mechanism for the advertiser
• A suppression list of prior opt-outs for the advertiser
  •  suppression list of prior opt-outs from the advertiser is required for all third-party deployments in order to maintain compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. While Penton Media does maintain its own opt-out list, all third-party deployments are considered to have been distributed by the property and the advertiser jointly under these regulations. As such, and for the protection of the advertiser, Penton Media must ensure that deployments executed on behalf of an advertiser maintain full compliance.
  • In the event that the advertiser does not maintain an opt-out list, the advertiser may execute and deliver an indemnification document affirming that no such list is maintained. A functioning opt-out mechanism for the advertiser is required regardless of indemnification.
• E-mail addresses for test recipients (required for approval)
• Subject Line for Eblast
• Seed list- anyone that should be included in final email blast

Please note: Delays in delivery of materials, creative changes, advertiser approval, or any other reason outside of the control of Penton Media will affect your deployment. Penton Media will make every effort to accommodate for changes, but it is constrained by other users of its distribution lists—Penton Media cannot guarantee the date that your message will be deployed if deadlines are missed.
